Maximum demand management

Maximum Demand Management

Maximum Demand is calculated when the highest kW value is consumed over single 15-minutes period within monthly billing cycle. Our Maximum Demand Controlling system prevents kW consumption exceeding the maximum demand limit. The Demand Control Systems justify their expenses with the energy savings over the time period of 1-2 years.

How does it work?

The energy can considerably be saved by means of monitoring power use and either turning off or reducing non-essential loads during those periods when the power usage is at the highest. This device will perfectly suit those industries where the value of load management is known at the point when demand approaches a preset value. If corrective action is not taken, the controller switches off non-essential loads in a logical sequence. This sequence is predetermined by the user and is programmed jointly by the user and the supplier of the device. The plant equipment selected for the load management are stopped and restarted as per the desired load profile.

Auto Adjustment

It is possible to set custom load limits for each month in order to provide more control. The demand controller has an algorithm that automatically increases the load limit if more energy is needed for the building eliminating excessive demand shedding. The interface is easy to use for setup and load shedding configuration.

Alarm and Notification

Notification light will be flashing once demand is about to reach the preset value. Alarms and notifications can be configured to notify what loads were shed and during which period of time. You can also trace the current demand peaks that can be easily compared to previous ones afterword.
